There's no doubt about it, the Panda Platinum Internet Security Suite rocks! It's virus definition files are updated daily (more often than most) and it also uses patented technology in the form of TruPrevent, which utilises artificial intelligence combined with advanced correlation techniques to protect your PC from as-yet unidentified viruses. The spyware prevention software is extremely effective at routing out and cleaning spyware and adware, but it remains totally configurable so you can choose to allow certain types of adware to run on your machine if you wish (e.g. some music sharing programs and weather toolbars, etc., are actually technically classed as adware!) It takes a little over half an hour to do a full scan of an 80Gb hard drive, which is very fast indeed, and if a virus or spyware product is detected, it cab be effortlessly healed, quarantined or deleted. Once installed, the Panda Platinum Antivirus software runs invisibly in the background monitoring all incoming traffic - the only time you're likely to know it's there is when it does an automatic update at the start of each day, which typically only takes a few seconds and requires no input from you whatsoever.
